2016 marked Peter’s 25th anniversary year since taking ownership of Ray White Kohimarama. In that time, Peter has used his strong background in customer service and leadership to provide customers and team with his local expertise and knowledge .Peter acts with integrity and honesty and supports and aligns with the strong family values of Ray White. He is highly personable and always makes time to talk.and recognizes that real estate is about people, and he values keeping in touch with everyone. Peter grew up in Melbourne, and after leaving school served six years in the Commonwealth Military Forces (CMF). Peter worked with Repco Auto Parts for twenty years in Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales before being appointed CEO of Repco Auto Parts New Zealand in the early 1980s. Peter entered real estate in 1987 with Beltons United Real Estate (the fore runner of Ray White in NZ) and hasn’t looked back since. Peter is now a New Zealand citizen, and proud of it! In 2008, Peter sold a half share of the business to John Halstead, and continues to be actively involved in the day to day operations of the new entity, Best In The Bays Ltd which also opened an additional office in St Heliers in 2014. At school, Peter played the bag pipes and was a member of the school Pipe Band for six years and Pipe Major in his final year.. He recently realized a lifelong dream in visiting the Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Scotland. Peter enjoys spending time with his four young grandchildren , and also enjoys the occassional game of golf, walking and travel.
