Kitua Maro has consolidated a whole set of skills and life experiences which collectively equip her very well for the high energy world of listing and selling property. Kitua has teamed up with Ella Kiliuyi as a Sales Associate and will be involved in assisting her with the marketing and managing of campaigns for clients for property coming to the market on the eastern peninsula and beyond.
Auckland-born and raised, Kitua has a strong background in sales and customer service. After finishing school, a chance meeting saw her head-hunted into the women’s fashion retail industry with Max. Kitua worked for them and several other high-profile retail brands over the following 6 years being promoted into store management, smashing sales targets and winning a number of company awards along the way. During this time, she a did two-year stint with Qantas as Cabin Crew on their Trans-Tasman route – a role she left to start a family.
Kitua is no stranger to building and home construction as she has studied towards a construction management diploma at Unitec and is an accomplished GIB fixer, managing and working in a GIB fixing business that is owned by her partner.
Multi-tasking is Kitua’s superpower -confident, determined, and a born leader, Kitua stands out in a crowd for all the right reasons. She has always been results-driven, going the extra two miles, and making people happy while she’s doing it. Highly creative, she’s also very astute, with a keen eye for detail and is a genuine people-person who wants to make a difference to the world.
Spare time is exceedingly rare but Kitua loves celebrating her Cook Islands heritage by getting involved with cultural community events and is a keen tennis player. She’s a proud Mum to two small boys, Lynn and Hakeem who are her world and who have both played a pivotal role in
driving her success.
